Stay in Control

OddsKing openly promotes gambling as being an enjoyable leisure activity. To help ensure that this remains an enjoyable experience for all of our customers, we encourage all of our customers to remember these simple tips which can help make sure your gambling doesn’t become a problem:

  1. Gambling should be seen as a form of entertainment and not seen as a way of making money.
  2. You should always bet sensibly and never chase your losses.
  3. Only deposit and gamble what you can afford to lose. Use Deposit Limits to manage the amount of money you spend.
  4. Ensure you monitor the amount of time you spend playing. Set up Reality Checks to remind you how long you have been playing.
  5. You should always ensure you balance your gambling with your other activities. If gambling is your only form of entertainment, you need to consider if you are still having fun.
  6. You should take regular breaks from gambling. Continuously gambling can lead you to lose track of time and perspective. You can take a Time-Out, a short break that ranges from 24 hours to six weeks.
  7. You should never gamble when under the influence of alcohol or when you’re upset or depressed.
  8. Think about how much money you spend gambling. You can track your activity in your Online Account History.
  9. If you need to talk to someone about problem gambling then Contact our customer service team or a problem gambling Support Service

Limit Your Account

Deposit Limits

Research shows that the risk of problem gambling maybe reduced if customers decide in advance how much money they want to commit to play. OddsKing openly encourages you to set a deposit limit to manage the amount of money that you can deposit into your account. Limits can be set for a 24 hour, 7 day or 30 day period and cannot be overridden.

You can decrease your deposit limits at any time and this will be applied immediately upon receipt of your request.

If you request to increase the amount of your deposit limit, it will be subjected to a 24 hour cooling off period. You should always carefully consider if you can afford the requested increase amount. We strongly advise against increasing your deposit limit following any losses you may have incurred. Once we have received your increase request, and the 24 hour cooling off period has passed, you will need to contact the customer service team and confirm if you still wish to increase your limit.

You can set, amend and confirm your deposit limits in the Responsible Gambling Controls section of Members by choosing Deposit Limits.

Reality Checks

Reality Check is a feature where you can choose to receive regular updates of your gaming session duration.

It will enable you to choose from a variety of time periods, where you will receive a notification at the end of each time period until you choose to end your gaming session. It will be necessary for you to acknowledge these notifications, and you will be given several options to choose from, including Continue Gaming, Close Game and Check Balance History.

These notifications will continue throughout your gaming session, until you have logged out. You can change the settings as you wish at any time, this includes deactivating the Reality Check which would remove any notifications. You must save any changes you make, for it to take effect.

Online Account History

Once you are logged into your account, you are able to access all of your transactional history within the member’s area. You will be able to view all of your deposits and withdrawals, along with a comprehensive list bets you have made, including open bets you may have. You can also view your current balance, along with the amount of free bets or casino bonus you may have on your account.

Take a Break

Time Out

A Time Out is an account option where you can take a short break from gambling. You can choose to apply a Time Out for a period of 24 hours, one week, one month, or a maximum of 6 weeks.

Once a Time Out has been applied to your account, you will be unable to gamble using your OddsKing account. Once you have chosen the time period that best suits your needs, we will not be able to reactivate your account until that time period has elapsed.

If you feel you are at risk of developing a gambling problem or believe you currently have a gambling problem, you should consider using the Self-Exclusion.

To take a Time-Out please visit the Responsible Gambling section of your Members Area by selecting Time-Out.

Self-Exclusion

If you think you are spending too much time or money gambling, or if you feel that you are at risk of developing a gambling problem or believe you currently have a gambling problem, you should then consider Self-Exclusion.

If you want to stop playing for any other reason, please consider taking a Time-Out or request an account closure.

Self-Exclusion enables you to restrict access to your account for a set period of time. You have the option to select a period of time that best suits your needs, ranging from the minimum term of 6 months, up to a maximum of 60 months. While there is an active Self-Exclusion agreement in place on your account, you will be unable to place any bets nor will you be allowed to reactivate your account. You can request to recommence gambling after the Self-Exclusion period has elapsed, but you will subjected to a 24 hour cooling off period prior to the account being reactivated.

Once a self-exclusion has been applied to an account, OddsKing will remove the customer's name from our mailing and marketing lists. We will endeavour to do everything we can to prevent a new account from an excluded customer from being opened during the period of self-exclusion.

If you try to open other accounts with us during your period of exclusion we will do our best to detect and close them. In the event you do not choose to update us with any changes in your personal information and you should open a new account, OddsKing will not be held liable for subsequent decisions to gamble and your deposits and any winnings accrued may be retained by OddsKing upon detection. Should you opt to self-exclude from OddsKing, we strongly recommend that you Self-Exclude from all other gambling operators you have an account with.

Once you have Self-Excluded from OddsKing, you will also be excluded from our other brands, Betfred and Totesport, we strongly advise that you delete or uninstall all OddsKing, Betfred and Totesport apps or downloads, ensuring that all of the notifications have also been disabled. We also recommend that you delete/remove/unfollow any and all related social media. Consideration should also be given with regard to installing software that blocks access to gambling websites.

If you are concerned with the amount of time or money you spend gambling, or if you feel that you are at risk of developing a gambling problem or believe you currently have a gambling problem, we recommend that you seek support from a problem gambling support service to help you deal with your problem.

You can self-exclude your account in the Responsible Gambling Controls section of My Account.

Alternatively you can contact our customer service team for assistance and further information.
